There is nothing that can be more joyful to a mother than to hold her baby in her hands after carrying it in her womb for nine months. For this reason most mothers usually cut of the use of coffee due to the misleading facts that are always associated with the coffee taking. A recent study have shown that taking your morning dose of your favorite keurig K-cups will not harm your baby especially if you limit yourself to only one small cup daily. The most confusing question that most mothers ask themselves is: how much coffee should go into that single cup of coffee.
To answer this question, we should compare who much a normal person should consume daily and how much the pregnant mother should take. A normal person should limit the amount of coffee taken every day around 300mg. This is three times the amount recommended for the pregnant mother as she should take about 100mg of coffee every day. In this case the pregnant mother may be limited to a small cup of Keurig K-cups because a single dose of the K-cups contain about 75 to 150 mg of caffeine. The reason why a mother may be required to reduce the amount to 100 mg is because a lot of caffeine has been proven to increase the chances of a miscarriage by 50% percent. It has also been proven that too much coffee usually lead to less blood flow to the placenta thus the mother may risk giving birth to an underweight baby.
However it is not recommended for you to cut off your daily dose of the keurig K-cups. This is because you risk having nasty caffeine withdrawal symptoms that will stress you the whole nine months. For this reason, you can just stick to the daily limit of one keurig k-cup that has a concentration of less than 100 mg. If you need to take more coffee, then it is recommended that you find a Keurig K-cups that are deep roasted. Deep roasted coffee usually contains less caffeine.
